I spent 11 years in New York and when I finally moved I found myself saying a lot of "Oh, but I never got to... (insert iconic NY activity here.)" Ironically, I spent 18 years growing up in Los Angeles and rarely did anything iconically LA. So, in an attempt to learn from history, and to also be one of those actors who has something to talk about aside from their last audition, I've created my very own LA 101 List.
The 101 list is like a bucket list, but more immediate. It's supposed to be completed in 1001 days, just under 3 years time. I've been compiling it over my last two months here, and as you can see, I'm still 44 items short. I would love any suggestions any of you might have to offer and if any of you want to join me for any of these adventures, let me know!

Awesome! Thanks Riley! Do you happen to have links for any of these events? Where is Sunset Blvd. playing? It's one of my favorite movies!

Thanks Leo! I've actually already done most of those things (I grew up here, so I got all the touristy stuff out of the way then), however I am very intrigued to go to Forest Lawn and put flowers on Rudy's grave...maybe dressed as Norma Desmond. ;)
Big hugs to you and everyone in New Bedford.

OK, you cannot volunteer dig at the La Brea Tar Pits until you have put in 90 hours in the lab. I bet they would let you pull weeds in the Pleistocene plant garden if you say you know Ryan, though. Sorry if this does not add to your list. Let me try and balance that...ok: Learn 3 (to 300) native plants at Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Gardens in Claremont on the very eastern edge of LA County. Oh!...how about: try on a wedding dress in Temple City!
